Workshop: Taking the Plunge - Art Librarianship as a Career Option

This workshop aims to introduce those interested in a career in art librarianship to the diversity of the sector, the kind of work and roles involved, as well as the current job market and how to enter the profession.
Speakers represent museum and gallery, academic and private libraries and include:

The afternoon also includes a presentation by Donald Lickely (Sue Hill Recruitment) discussing the current job market and how to enhance your CV. The day closes with the lowdown from a LIS recent graduate working in the field of art librarianship, a chance to question the panel of speakers and a behind-the-scenes tours of the National Gallery Library.
