Workshop: From e-learning to m-learning: how art libraries are engaging with new technologies

Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art, London

Thursday 12th December 2011

Increasingly, engaging with our students means engaging with new technologies. Libraries are looking for new - and inexpensive - ways to reach students whether to impart information or to develop relationships. This event will showcase some of the work being done in UK Universities, with suggestions for freely available and cost- effective technologies. With a very practical bias, the speakers will each give examples of how the e- and the m- have innovated student support in their respective institutions. We will also be looking at how you are using some of these new technologies and invite ideas for discussion in our final session of the day.
